Rust Backend Engineer

Backend engineer focused on Rust and distributed systems. Author of oxide-outbox, a published open-source transactional outbox library for Rust — hybrid PostgreSQL LISTEN/NOTIFY + polling, Redis-backed idempotency, and a dead-letter queue, all unit-tested across failure and concurrency edge cases.

Sole developer of Wordbin (wordbin.app), a production SaaS built end-to-end in Rust: Axum backend, Leptos/WASM frontend, and a Chrome extension, deployed on Fly.io.

Strong in event-driven architecture and reliability patterns — Outbox, Saga, CQRS, idempotency, deduplication. I care about clean, observable, well-tested code. Prior production experience in .NET.

Looking for remote Rust backend / infrastructure roles. Open to relocation (EU / digital nomad).
