In 2012 I got my degree in Film Production at UCLan University in Preston, UK. After graduating, I had the good fortune to become the personal assistant to Otto Bathurst, who directed series of Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror, Robin Hood, and more. During this time, I also began directing personal projects, including short films that achieved festival success.
My directing career gained momentum - and I started directing TVC commercials. Over the past three years, I’ve been working on both local and international projects for major clients like PayPal and Match. Although my main source of income is from commercials I always have side projects.
My team and I won a competition to produce three documentary episodes for National Geographic, which we filmed in California and Sri Lanka. This is year I finished another short documentary which is running on festivals and has already won 2 awards.
With the advancements of AI I find tremendous opportunities for creativity.
