Hi, I’m Wes. My path through the tech and startup world has been anything but conventional. It’s been a journey marked by learning, adapting, and the sheer joy of creating something out of nothing. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of diving into the Web3 space, leading growth strategies, and even launching a few ventures of my own.

One of my notable adventures was with Playdex, where, alongside a passionate team, we secured $2.1 million in funding. This wasn’t just a win for us; it was a stepping stone that allowed us to broaden our NFT platform significantly, growing our listings by 20x. It was an endeavor that taught me the value of community and the impact of shared goals.

With Web23, I embarked on a journey that led us to secure a grant from the HBAR Foundation. This was more than just funding; it was a vote of confidence in our vision for a Web3 naming service, which we launched to unprecedented success. It underscored the importance of seizing opportunities and truly understanding what our users needed.

More recently, I've been involved in a project poised for a pilot within the Urbit community. It’s been a thrilling challenge to apply my accumulated knowledge to a new area of technology and witness the project come to life.

My time at PayMongo, a Y Combinator S19 startup, was equally transformative. Here, I learned the intricacies of product strategy and the impact of a well-optimized conversion funnel on customer retention. It was a blend of data-driven decision-making and a deep dive into understanding user needs.

Outside of these roles, I’ve also ventured into setting up online businesses and angel investing, experiences that have enriched my understanding of what it means to operate a business from the ground up.

Now, I find myself looking for a new challenge as a Senior Product Manager. I’m eager to bring my unique blend of experiences, from product management to entrepreneurial ventures, into a role where I can contribute to building impactful products. I’m looking for a team that values creativity, strategic thinking, and the drive to build something meaningful together.
