About the Role

Figure Pay is looking for a Card Settlement Analyst who is responsible for providing operational support in all facets of card processing, to include daily reconcilement of program settlements, reviewing transactional data to identify/escalate system issues, providing assistance to program managers and/or providing assistance in resolving program/customer issues.

What you’ll do:

• Provide second level support for customer inquiries related to blockchain and debit card transactions.
• Use analytical concepts and techniques to track fraud trends to implement updated risk procedures around debit card transactions.
• Identify and report improvement opportunities with Operational Risk Manager to design and implement strategy enhancement and optimization for Figure Pay.
• Supports Payment Processing account management team and bank deposit operations teams relating to card issuance/troubleshooting.
• Reviews daily transactions for suspicious activity; and, reports suspicious activity on simple to moderately complex cases.
• Effectively communicates(written and verbal) with internal workgroups to resolve problems within established service levels.
• Assist with the ongoing management of business processes related to all debit card matters, including but not limited to daily/monthly reconciliation, dispute resolution, and vendor management.
• Contribute to an exciting and vibrant office environment and team dynamic.

What we look for:

• BA/BS degree preferred
• 3+ years Banking experience required with strong background in payments, card, and other policies, procedures and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a variety of personality types via email, phone, and occasionally in person
• Strong understanding of ACH and Debit Card Processing and an interest in Blockchain
• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
• Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
• Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups
