Business Development Manager at FINNOVASIA
We are looking for Hong Kong-based candidates who are passionate about events and media in FinTech or Tech sectors and looking for a company that shares a great culture and team to join us!
As the Business Development Manager at FINNOVASIA, you will have to achieve the sale targets while delivering outstanding client relationships management. You are also responsible for identifying new opportunities and driving the growth across the company product. Also, you are not shy to build a network and thrive with the community!
Your role at FINNOVASIA
Achieve sales targets and performance objectives for sponsorship within your remit.
Make outgoing sales calls to potential clients and with a big focus on new business clients as we enter a new market for the brand to maximize revenue for sponsorship
Be knowledgeable about the industries, client profile, competitors, and products in order to sell the right solutions to the potential clients
Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management, and lead generation
Identify potential partners, pitch tailored packages (logo placement, speaking slots, stands), and manage relationships to secure revenue.
Sponsors prioritize ROI, such as lead generation, brand awareness, and access to specific, high-level audiences.
This involves research, cold outreach, consultative selling, and creating customized solutions rather than just offering standard packages.
Lead on sponsorship revenue targets, number of new leads, and renewal rates.
Connects with potential attendees to drive registration, focusing on the value, networking, and educational benefits of the event.

Build rapport, communicating, and converting prospects into registered attendees, often through LinkedIn and direct communication.
Who you are
Bachelor degree
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales or business development position
Experience in selling sponsorship/project is preferred
Passionate about FinTech/ Event industry
Working experience in startups/ small team is a big plus
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is preferable
Good in English business writing
