Head of Marketing at Finoverse

Fantastic opportunity to create and organize unconventional leading Global FinTech events and projects. We are looking for a candidate to join our Hong Kong team who is committed to taking the lead role in developing and implementing effective and creative marketing strategies to maximize engagement with our audiences in Asia and globally.

As the Head of Marketing at Finoverse, you will play a crucial part in the company's growth. You are expected to be creative yet able to achieve tangible marketing results. You will be responsible for ideating and executing marketing activities across all marketing channels. You will need to drive effective communications with our partners globally.

Your role at Finoverse

  • Set overall vision, strategy, roadmap, plans, and priorities to enable the development and execution of marketing success

  • Be responsible for the overall marketing strategy to drive top-of-mind brand awareness, ensuring our company brand is clearly positioned, communicated, and differentiated

  • Lead the internal marketing team and external agencies to execute communication campaigns and growth tactics across all relevant marketing channels, learning and iterating quickly based on results achieved

  • Insight discovery for marketing campaigns and initiatives, as well as having a solid understanding of the market trends within the industry

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to create written, graphic, and video content

  • Manage and lead the full range of business-oriented marketing activities, including - emails, website updates, social media content creation, partnerships, brochures, and additional collateral

  • Handle all marketing materials for several teams and projects across the business; you will proofread and improve content when required

  • Accountable for implementing marketing activities following the marketing plan

  • Develop measurements to evaluate marketing activities' effectiveness and budget management to ensure all campaigns meet the targeted forecasts

  • Develop and implement internal and external communication plans

  • Drive effective communications with all FinTech partners to strengthen relationships with key partners and build relationships with new partners

  • Always bring your new ideas on how to increase the engagement rate in our community

  • Act as a problem solver, manage and supervise a team of 3-4

  • Work closely with the founder and co-founder to establish KPIs and identify new opportunities

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management

  • Required to travel from time to time



Who you are

  • Min 8 - 10 years of marketing and brand-building experience

  • Open-minded and excited to learn new trends and technologies

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced company

  • Willing to take ownership at work but also support your team and management

  • You are a challenge taker as well as a problem solver

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing / Journalism / Public Relations or related field

  • Working experience in startups/ small teams in the FinTech or Event industry is a big plus

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and Mandarin; Cantonese would be an advantage

Abilities we are looking for

  • Excellent leadership and project management skills

  • Broad exposure across branding, social media, EDM, performance marketing, and content marketing

  • International exposure in different markets and regions

  • A high degree of autonomy and responsibility while still working well in a team

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects to deadline and work under pressure

  • Creative mindset and ability to implement an effective marketing strategy

  • Have a strong interest in both digital and content marketing

  • A strong understanding of global marketing trends and knowledge of China Marketing is a big advantage

  • Working experience with online and offline campaigns, integrated campaigns that can be digital, print, broadcast, events, etc.

  • Experience with digital analytical tools, CRM systems, design software and all social media channels, email marketing

  • Experience with Corporate communications, partnership, community building, and management will be a bonus

Candidates without the required experience will still be considered for the Senior Marketing Manager position.
