About Polymarket
Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.
We're growing fast — both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.
About the Role
This is a technical client-facing role sitting at the intersection of our institutional relationships and our engineering team. You'll be the primary point of contact for market makers, trading firms, and institutional partners integrating with Polymarket's APIs and exchange infrastructure — helping them get live quickly, troubleshoot issues, and get the most out of our platform.
You're part account manager, part solutions engineer. You understand how exchanges work under the hood, can read and write code when needed, and know how to translate between what a client needs and what our engineering team can build. This role reports to the Head of Institutional Liquidity.
What You'll Do
Own the technical onboarding experience for market makers and institutional clients integrating with Polymarket's APIs — REST, WebSocket, and order entry
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key partners post-onboarding, triaging issues and coordinating with engineering on resolutions
Build and maintain integration guides, code samples, and documentation that help clients go live faster
Work cross-functionally with product and engineering to translate client feedback into platform improvements and feature requests
Identify and flag integration bottlenecks, latency issues, and API pain points before they become client problems
Support the institutional sales team on technical due diligence — joining client calls, answering deep API and infrastructure questions, and helping close deals
-
Monitor client API health and usage patterns; proactively reach out when something looks off
What We're Looking For
2–5 years in a technical client-facing role — developer relations, solutions engineering, technical account management, or similar at an exchange, fintech, or trading technology company
Hands-on experience with exchange or trading APIs (REST, WebSocket, FIX); you've helped clients integrate and debug in production environments
Comfortable reading and writing code — Python, JavaScript, or similar — to build samples, debug integrations, or automate workflows
Strong communicator who can explain technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
Self-starter who takes ownership of client issues end to end rather than passing them off
Familiar with how electronic trading works — order types, latency, market data feeds, execution quality
Collaborative by nature — you work closely with engineering, product, and sales without friction
Bonus Points
Experience at a crypto exchange, DeFi protocol, or on-chain trading venue
Familiarity with prediction markets or event-driven financial products
Experience with market maker or HFT client integrations
Background in quantitative finance, trading systems, or financial data infrastructure
Benefits
Competitive salary & equity
Unlimited PTO
Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage
401k match
Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories
