Role Overview

We are hiring a Business Development associate to help shape the launch of the Zenith Network. We are the official EVM layer for Canton. Main responsibility areas will be:

  • Handle a high volume of initial calls with inbound projects and clients
  • Conduct follow-ups and manage proposal pipelines
  • Filter and qualify opportunities to identify high-potential partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with project teams and ecosystem partners
  • Create a workflow that helps us successfully launch with our pipeline included
  • Manage internal information pipelines and keep the CRM updated


Required Background

  • Proven experience in Web3 & DeFi Business Development
  • Have experience handling high-volume client pipelines
  • Strong organizational skills with CRMs and internal information sharing structures
  • Have taken deals from initial contact to launch
  • Deep understanding of enterprise blockchain, DeFi and EVM


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales in DeFi and Web3
  • Understanding how to work with both DeFi and Institutions
  • You have a strong, organized mind and work well in async workflows where documentation, knowledge sharing, and updates are effortlessly shared internally
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, automation workflows) to accelerate research, content creation, and social media execution
  • Self-starter who can identify opportunities and lead initiatives independently
  • Comfortable working closely with founders and product teams
  • Low ego, high empathy, and collaborative mindset, thriving in a small, high-performance team

The salesperson would also be responsible for negotiating contracts and pricing with clients, as well as providing support and guidance throughout the sales process

Additionally, the salesperson may be involved in developing sales strategies and tactics, and tracking and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
