About Layer3

Layer3 is building the distribution layer for crypto. We help leading protocols acquire and retain users through onchain experiences that actually convert. Layer3 partners with many of the most innovative projects in crypto, and this role is about scouting and striking partnerships with prominent, upcoming, and exciting protocols, ecosystems, and apps that will define the next wave of onchain adoption.


The Role

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to expand Layer3’s network of protocol and ecosystem partners. You will focus heavily on outbound outreach, identify new opportunities before others do, and build lasting relationships across the crypto landscape. Working closely with the VP of BD and the executive leadership, you will help drive Layer3’s next phase of growth by bringing in high-quality partners and executing campaigns that make an impact.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Run high-volume outbound outreach to protocols, ecosystems, and projects aligned with Layer3’s mission.
  • Manage inbound requests and guide potential partners through the full BD lifecycle, from qualification to contract and campaign execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with founders, ecosystem leads, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Product, and Marketing to align partner launches with Layer3’s roadmap.
  • Track and maintain a clear pipeline, report progress toward targets, and share insights from the market.
  • Represent Layer3 across online communities, conferences, and networking events to identify new leads and expand visibility.

Ideal Candidate

  • Based in Singapore or another major Asian crypto hub with overlap to U.S. working hours.
  • Charismatic, persuasive, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Exceptionally organized and reliable with strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable running many parallel conversations and maintaining a high call and meeting volume.
  • Deep interest in crypto, fintech, or tech startups, and a natural curiosity about emerging ecosystems.
  • Prior experience in BD, partnerships, or sales roles is required, with a proven record of initiating and closing deals in the crypto or tech ecosystem.
  • Driven, proactive, and possesses a winner mentality with a focus on building relationships that create real business value.
