Product Solutions Partnership Manager – Local Payments
What you'll do
- Drive the end-to-end development of local payment solutions within the coins.ph app, from concept to launch and optimization.
- Translate client and market needs into product requirements and solution designs for payment capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define APIs, workflows, and feature enhancements related to local payments.
- Ensure new payment offerings align with coins.ph’s product strategy, user experience standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, onboard, and manage local payment partners, including payment service providers and banks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for payment partners, leading discussions on integration requirements, SLAs, pricing, and roadmaps.
- Work closely with partners to understand their capabilities and align them with the needs of coins.ph clients and users.
- Negotiate commercial and technical terms in coordination with Legal, Finance, and Compliance teams.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and selected enterprise or merchant clients to understand payment needs, pain points, and opportunities.
- Represent the voice of the customer when working with payment partners, ensuring solutions address real client use cases.
- Support go-to-market efforts, including documentation, partner enablement, and internal training.
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure all payment solutions meet BSP and local regulatory requirements.
- Monitor performance of live payment solutions and partners, identifying opportunities for optimization and issue resolution.
- Prepare reports and updates on partner performance, roadmap progress, and product impact.
What we expect from you
- 5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, product partnerships, or product management.
- Strong understanding of local payment rails, PSPs, e-wallets, and banking integrations.
- Proven experience working with payment partners (e.g., FIUU or similar providers).
- Experience translating business and client needs into product or technical requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with BSP-regulated institutions or similar regulatory environments.
- Familiarity with APIs, payment processing flows, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience launching or scaling payment products in Southeast Asia.
