Web3 Technical Writer

Cardstack is building the collaborative OS for Web3. We are looking for a technical writer to prepare, review, revise, and maintain documents in the areas of systems engineering, open-source software, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs. We are a team of experienced technologists and designers devoted to bringing Web2 software architecture into the Web3 era of protocols. As a technical writer, you will work with our talented team to gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources, so as to document new or changing product functionality.
Responsibilities

• Work closely with members of our global, cross-functional marketing team to create world-class technical content focused on building a thought leadership presence for Cardstack
• Write technical articles based on interviews with developers and product leads
• Produce and support high-quality technical documentation that is appropriate for a developer audience
• Create a wide variety of content, including (but not limited to) docs, manuals, white papers, glossaries, blogs, books, tutorials, videos, and more

Requirements

• Excellent written skills in English
• Proven technical writing experience
• Experience writing blog posts, tutorials, guides, API docs, and sample apps
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Experience with blockchain is a plus
• Experience working directly with engineering teams on a product for a technical audience, such as DevOps, developers, or scientists
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills
