Wormhole is hiring a Web3 Developer Advocate
Compensation: $63k - $90k estimated
Location: remote
Wormhole is a simple, generic protocol that delivers a pathway for any kind of information—funds, votes, programs and more—from any blockchain in the network to any other.
As Developer Advocate, you will help shape the future of Wormhole by playing a critical role in its adoption and integration with other projects. You will work closely with developers of other projects to help them integrate Wormhole into their DApps and wallets. You’ll use your firsthand knowledge of their needs to guide the development of new features. And based on all of your experiences working with Wormhole users, you’ll create educational content to teach everyone how to get the most out of Wormhole.
The multi-chain universe is expanding quickly. Wormhole has a chance to be the protocol that ties it all together, and you can play a crucial role in making that happen.
What You'll Do:
- Facilitate great onboarding experiences for developers and partners.
- Collaborate with the Wormhole development team, community developers, community managers, and other stakeholders to find ways to improve the Wormhole network.
- Create content – documentation, explainers, examples – to make the integration of the Wormhole stack intuitive and easy.
- Make fixes and improvements to the Wormhole SDK.
- Find ways to improve the experience for developers and integrators.
- Build relationships with protocols and find mutually beneficial new business opportunities.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from developers to inform Wormhole’s growth strategy.
- Other duties as assigned or needed.
Skills You’ll Need
- Able to write code but prefer adding value with your strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experienced working in a fast-paced and lean organization in an externally-facing role.
- Deeply familiar with how to integrate blockchain projects.
- A strong writer, especially in describing technical concepts clearly.
- Experienced with web development (Typescript) and optionally blockchain development (Rust and Go).
- Knowledgeable and interested in crypto, defi, and blockchain.
- Able to lead technical projects to successful completion
- Resourceful, self-sufficient, and able to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Predictable and reliability availability
