Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Payment Operations team, ensuring smooth execution of all workflows including cash in/out, bills payment, and other fiat wallet services.
    • Supervise and support team members through regular one-on-one syncs, performance check-ins, and monitoring of individual and team OKRs.
    • Monitor daily transaction flows, dashboards, and alerts to identify potential issues early and coordinate quick resolutions with relevant internal teams and external partners.
    • Handle exception management, reconciliation coordination, and basic settlement oversight, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of operational tasks.
    • Review operational metrics and KPIs on a weekly basis to identify bottlenecks, drive process improvement initiatives, and enhance team efficiency and accuracy.
    • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Finance to communicate operational needs, support backend process updates, and improve overall workflow reliability.
    • Support operational readiness for new payment features, partners, or internal changes by coordinating testing, documentation review, and training for team members.
    • Help ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance requirements, and standard operating procedures related to fiat money movement and customer transactions.
    • Serve as a primary coordination point with banks, e-wallets, and payment partners for routine operational concerns or issue escalations.
    • Perform ad hoc tasks, documentation updates, and contribute to smaller-scale projects under the broader Coins.ph Payments Operations initiatives.

What You Bring:

    • 3-5+ years of experience in payments operations, settlement, banking operations, or fintech transaction workflows, with at least 1 year in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Operations, or similar).
    • Hands-on experience managing daily operational KPIs, incident escalations, and operational performance metrics.
    • Strong analytical, documentation, and process-improvement skills; proficient with Google Suite, Excel, and operational dashboards.
    • Excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino, with the ability to work collaboratively with product, engineering, compliance, and external partners.
    • Reliable, organized, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
