The Role

As the Head of Treasury, you will establish and oversee the systems, policies, and strategies needed to sustain and grow our financial operations across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.

You're the architect of our financial stability, crafting and executing a robust treasury strategy to optimize cash flow, manage risks, and unlock innovative financial opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Development

• Design and implement a global treasury strategy tailored to business objectives.
• Establish frameworks for cash management, FX risk mitigation, and liquidity optimization.
• Research and adopt innovative tools and processes to enhance treasury operations.

Cash & Liquidity Management

• Manage liquidity needs across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
• Maximize returns on idle cash reserves while ensuring operational liquidity.
• Develop safe, efficient strategies for managing crypto holdings.
• Present cash flow and risk insights to executive leadership.
• Oversee reconciliation of cash accounts across jurisdictions.

Risk Management

• Monitor currency exposures and implement hedging solutions.
• Stay updated on financial regulations to ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
• Evaluate performance of idle cash investments and crypto holdings.

Trading & Investment

• Identify and execute opportunities for returns through FX trading or other instruments.
• Oversee investments in digital assets, ensuring risk-adjusted performance.
• Analyze FX exposures and ensure liquidity remains stable despite fluctuations.
• Recommend and execute hedging instruments.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Build and lead the treasury team.
• Partner with internal teams to align treasury goals with company objectives.
• Provide strategic insights to executive leadership.

Expected Milestones

First 3 Months:

• Learn existing cash flow structures and financial systems.
• Build initial treasury frameworks and documentation systems.
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including banks and compliance teams.

6 Months:

• Roll out a comprehensive FX risk management strategy.
• Drive implementation of treasury management tools.
• Present the first treasury performance report to the executive team.

12 Months:

• Fully own treasury operations across all jurisdictions.
• Lead treasury-driven strategic initiatives, including new investment opportunities.
• Deliver measurable impact on financial stability and resource optimization.

Required Experience

You've spent significant time (8+ years) across various treasury management functions. You have:

• Deep understanding of treasury, FX, and liquidity management.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience building treasury functions from the ground up.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience in banking, fintech or crypto markets.
• Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks.
• Professional certifications like CFA, CTP, or FRM.

Our Technical Environment

You'll be working with modern financial infrastructure that combines traditional payment rails with cryptocurrency networks. Our systems process both traditional fiat payments and crypto settlements, requiring an understanding of how these different worlds intersect. While deep crypto knowledge isn't required, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge financial technology and help shape how it evolves.
