Web3 Events Associate, Development Department

What is the Role:

The Development department of DCG is looking to hire an Events Associate. Working closely with the Director of Events, the Events Associate will provide support for the many conferences, off site meetings, summits, and other events that we host ourselves or in partnership with our subsidiaries or portfolio companies.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Budget management, internal and external communications, manage invitation process, vendor/venue sourcing and management, negotiate contracts.
  • Building out agendas, production schedules and processes.
  • Ideally have experience of working with project management tools such as Asana and Airtable to ensure all projects are clearly tracked and visible across the group.
  • Meticulously record notes and best practices.
  • Support the Development team across all events on the technology front – this means you are a tinkerer and enjoy trying out new technologies to support the constantly evolving needs of the group.
  • Mastermind brilliant presentations using the latest technology and leveraging all your design capacities and flair to best showcase our vision to internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in an event planning role.
  • Passion for organization and keeping teams on task along with the ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly problem solve.
  • Unmatched negotiation skills and a flair for making the impossible possible.
  • Self-starter who can problem solve with a can-do attitude.
  • Energizes others and has an earnest desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tons of growth opportunity.
  • Genuine excitement for joining the fastest-moving industry on the planet and takes pride in supporting the work of our crypto companies and leaders.
  • Ability to travel nationally for events and site visits as needed.
