Blockdaemon is hiring a Web3 Events Manager
Compensation: $90k - $100k estimated
Location: remote
Position Overview:
Blockdaemon seeks a hardworking and highly motivated Events Manager who is essential to the rapidly expanding and evolving marketing needs. This position will lead the events marketing team while pursuing events, activating in the field, and reporting back to the management team on key takeaways.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person events strategy
- Connect business priorities, objectives, and key messages for events
- Coordinating and managing pre-event, promotion, on-the-day management, and post-event follow up activities, including email campaigns, surveys, and other inbound and outbound correspondence
- Work to schedule regular events and manage activities including leading creation of content on landing pages, event logistics and manpower, and manage the reporting
- Lead content production that will help enhance the events, physical and digital materials, including branding, agenda designs, content creation, and venue selection for exclusive Blockdaemon events
- Take calls with various companies, and corporations interested in working with our company
- Book travel accommodations, when necessary, and/or communicate with our corporate travel coordinator to ensure travel is properly arranged
- Lead the team for to all sponsorship inquiries as well as scouting opportunities for activations
- Keep up with Blockdaemon’s SOP, as it is changing constantly and evolving
- Manage and activate within the annual budget
Skills and Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Have a firm understanding of Blockdaemon and the cryptocurrency/blockchain world
- At least 3 years experience in event management, activation, and managing a team
- Ability to travel with focus on domestic travel and some international travel
- Highly motivated, passionate, and organized
- Ability to work independently, prioritize a demanding schedule, and manage time
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated involvement and passion in the technology field
- Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- An understanding of Google Drive Experience for reporting and communication interdepartmentally
- Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools and a “whatever it takes” attitude
- Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
- Outgoing, personable, and a “team-player.”
