Braintrust is hiring a Web3 Product Strategist [Remote]

- LOCATION: Remote - United States only (TimeZone: EST | Partial overlap)
- HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $100 – $112/hr
- ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long-term
About the role: This person will explore new opportunities, assess the company’s product performance, and help develop its long-term strategic plans for future product investments that the team will kick-off development beginning in Q2 2023.
Responsibilities: Explore two key potential areas of investment the team would begin development on once the PM is back from leave:
- Work to kick-off in Q2 2023: Product strategy for sellers to reduce their processing time through a new feature called “pay for expedited processing times”
- Work to kick-off in Q4 2023: Product strategy to make shipping on our client's cheaper
- 3-5 years as an experienced product strategist for two-sided marketplace (required)
- Experience working with medium to large tech companies within fulfillment (nice to have)
- Experience researching the competitive landscape to find unserved needs and market opportunities.
- Think about all aspects of their company’s products: pricing, marketing, developing strategic partnerships with other businesses, etc.
- Think about the future of the company’s products. They develop plans for a product’s lifecycle, for example, and keep an eye on the market for potential changes that could represent new opportunities, threats, or needs to alter the product in some way.
Please be prepared to participate in a 1.5 hour interview process to meet with senior leaders within Product, Design, Engineering and Analytics.
About the team:
This Product Strategist contract will help kick-off pre-discovery and planning for a new squad within Fulfillment at Our client's organization. The role will work closely with Analytics, Research, and Design partners to seed work for a new squad while the Product Manager is out on a parental leave, returning in mid-April. The remaining engineers still need to be hired; and will be in their seats beginning in Q2.
