Coinbase has built the world's leading compliant cryptocurrency platform serving over 68 million accounts in more than 100 countries. With multiple successful products, and our vocal advocacy for blockchain technology, we have played a major part in mainstream awareness and adoption of cryptocurrency. We are proud to offer an entire suite of products that are helping build the cryptoeconomy and increase economic freedom around the world.
There are a few things we look for across all hires we make at Coinbase, regardless of role or team. First, we look for signals that a candidate will thrive in a culture like ours, where we default to trust, embrace feedback, disrupt ourselves, and expect sustained high performance because we play as a championship team. Second, we expect all employees to commit to our mission-focused approach to our work. Finally, we seek people with the desire and capacity to build and share expertise in the frontier technologies of crypto and blockchain, in whatever way is most relevant to their role.
Coinbase aims to be the Amazon of Assets. Just as Amazon provides the largest selection of products and the fastest shipping speeds, we will provide the largest selection of assets and fastest listing times. We are committed to becoming the one stop shop for anyone who wishes to invest/trade/earn/borrow/lend/delegate/stake across the entire cryptoeconomy.
The Crypto Assets organization is a global team of crypto-passionate engineers charged with single-threaded ownership of asset engineering for Coinbase. Our charter is comprised of 4 pillars: 1) Asset Addition, 2) Asset Capabilities, 3) Asset Scaling, and 4) Asset Customer Experience. As the Sr. Engineering Manager for all India Asset Addition teams, you will be responsible for the success of the first pillar, working closely with our global team to integrate blockchains, tokens, NFTs, and all other types of crypto assets into the Coinbase asset ecosystem.
In this role you will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of various blockchains and crypto technologies. You’ll develop solutions to handle the nuances of each asset and identify ways to improve the efficiency and reliability of our asset addition processes and technologies. You’ll work with a large cross-functional team to navigate the end to end asset listing lifecycle and also engage with external Asset Issuers to build out their asset integrations. And because this team is new, you’ll also have the opportunity to create a strong and lasting engineering foundation and lead the team’s growth from the ground up.
