In this position, you will play a critical role in expanding Zscaler’s global cloud by utilizing automation to provision hardware that will be deployed to our data centers. What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

Provision new hardware and network devices in a staging environment that will be deployed globally to expand and supplement the Zscaler network Troubleshoot issues within our build environment and repair or replace server and network components and infrastructure Collaborate with the maintenance, network, install and platform engineering teams to execute and validate build activities and assist in optimizing processes

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

Experience working in Data Center or hardware build and development environments Deep understanding of various types of servers, network devices and configurations, and physical connectivity Proficiency with the LINUX/UNIX command line, BIOS, and OOB management tools such as ILO, SAA, iDRAC, or IPMI

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Basic scripting capabilities in BASH or Python Familiarity with build automation technologies such as Ansible or PXE boot Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other ticketing and documentation tools
