Blockchain Research & Data Analyst

Job Summary (3mo. tenure, 19hr./wk)

Agency 84 is assisting its Us-based affiliate, CWF, to locate a team of blockchain researchers/analysts with an excessive aptitude for detail-oriented unchain transactional analysis, problem solving, and consumer-facing balanced & technical content proofs/publications i.e. what happened to trigger the digital assets $1.7T in USD drawdown.

The purpose of the role is to provide proofs of singular on-chain events that has led to substantial market volatility and ultimately the near insolvency and current Chapter 11 filing for the Celsius Network, Vauld, and Voyager. CWF expects you to propose how you will accomplish this analysis (the investments made on DeFi by this flies and which players may have intervened in shorting the market on i.e. 20c leverage FTX platform) If you are deemed eligible you will attend a brief meet n greet and then, if the discussion goes well, you will move to the final steps and be notified Sunday evening following the final interview if you will be given the meeting. The starting date is urgent as this is the first role outside TVP, the directors, and the marketing team/dev team we are onboarding due to the time-sensitivity of the deliverable. we are looking to bring on since the proof of the event is known.... we just need to reconstruct those events. If onboarded, your blockchain analysis of the 2021' ~$1.7M drawdown will be published and pushed through both new and broadcast media within 4 days following 3rd party validation. Your name will be listed as an author on the publication.

Responsibilities

• As a Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting deep structured research on top crypto assets and protocols.
• Write thematic research, participate in stakeholder calls, and work with other teams at CWF during this 3-mo volunteer role
• Provide research reports on crypto assets, protocols, and AMM breaches in a structured format.
• Maintain a high-quality standard while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Work with other team members to peer review and provide feedback on reports.
• Gain a deep understanding of various relevant aspects of the crypto industry including technology, legal, regulatory, economic, and protocol background details.

Qualifications (Minimums)

• 3yrs+ experience working as a research and analysis specialist relative to digital assets, blockchain technology, and the broader "crypto market."
• Deep understanding of blockchain, AMMs, and various aspects of protocols/networks and assets more broadly. You will being the assumed expert at this (or expert-to-be). You will not be trained bur rather lightly guided... so come strong or kindly don't apply.
• 3yrs+ experience researching and writing up concise summaries of your findings.

Skills

• Strong software development background
• Ability to synthesize complex topics and provide concise summaries for both technical and mainstream consumption
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality reports on a short deadline.
• Experience working with large codebases
• Experience working with open-source projects and with the open-source community
• Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
• Familiarity with basic cryptography
• Familiarity with P2P networks
• Strong knowledge of Ethereum blockchains and can cross chain for purpose of analysis
• Strong knowledge of concurrency and writing efficient and safe multithreaded code[MB1]
