👀 Who we are looking for
As a senior blockchain engineer, you will take the lead in the design and implementation of multiple software architecture and systems. You will also be managing individual projects priorities and deadlines, while ensuring that quality engineering standards are upheld. If you enjoy getting your hands dirty in building things from the ground up, and are not afraid to tackle the many challenges of being “early adopters” of a technology, then this role is for you.

🛠️ What you will be doing

• Architect, design, and implement solutions with emphasis on maintainability and best practices for large scale distributed systems and databases
• Develop low-latency streaming data pipelines while ensuring data integrity and availability
• Collaborate with stakeholders within the Engineering and Business teams to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced and iterative environment
• Recognise impediments to our efficiency as a team ("technical debt"), and propose and implement solutions Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise

🧑‍💻 Who you are
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience 3-5 years of relevant work experience in software engineering
You have stayed in your latest job for at least 1 year, full-time at a reputable company in the crypto space
Expertise in at least one general purpose programming language (especially in TypeScript, Go, or Rust)
Candidates with demonstrable experience building Dapps and writing smart contracts in the Blockchain and DeFi space will be prioritized (Proficiency in mainstream blockchain development frameworks (web3.js - Eth.js -OpenZepplin - Solidity...etc for example)
Experience with Browser-Embedded wallets such as Metamask, TrustWallet etc
Hands-on experience architecting, developing, and maintaining distributed systems using public cloud services like GCP etc.
Good understanding of software security fundamentals and cryptography practices
Technical experience in leading teams and setting technical direction
Keen interest in building within the Web3 or DeFi space (Must)
Startup (fintech / blockchain) or individual project experience. Show us what you built. This trumps everything! 😊

📍 Location
Our team is based in Hong Kong. But this position will be remote and we will assess your performance on what you can do for us to advance the product. We do not offer relocation services at the moment given visa restrictions and covid policies.
