We're building Vanguard for cryptoassets- low fee index funds enabling the everyday investor to get exposure to themes and the broader market.

Index funds are the greatest equalizer of a financial product ever- anyone that dollar-cost averaged into an S&P 500 index beat 90% of hedge fund managers over a 20-year time horizon.

We believe the same dynamic will play out in digital assets as products in the space mature.

Our team previously built products used by millions at companies like Google, Omni (acq. by Coinbase), and Maze.

The Role:

You'll design, implement, deploy, and support solidity architecture.

Proficient in Solidity & smart contract engineering
2+ years of engineering experience with solid engineering fundamentals (we don't care if you have a degree!).
You understand gas optimization and tradeoffs between efficient code and readable code
Know how to write migrations and deploy code to EVM-compatible networks
You're independent enough to make important technical decisions on your own

What You'll Do

Work with the team to collaborate and execute on our product goals and technical roadmap
Design, scope, and estimate complex contract based on requirements
Own features end to end, participate in everything from design reviews to triaging bugs.
Deploy to production and contribute to the systems that enable us to ship faster.

Other Fun Stuff:

We're fully remote (current team spread across NYC and SF), but intend to take the team to fun international destinations for productive offsites.
We encourage you to build open-source projects on the side and contribute to the community (our lead eng just built one of the more popular Loot derivatives on OpenSea)
We'll cover all costs (within reason) for you to set up the ultimate home office.
We know any engineer worth their salt in Solidity has a wide range of awesome opportunities- we compensate well in both cash and equity because we understand the opportunity costs of taking on a dedicated role in a world where it seems like everyone is making seven figures flipping jpegs.
