The Role Async Art has been deeply rooted in the NFT space since we launched in February 2020. Over the past couple of years, we’ve become one of the leading companies pushing the tech forward for creators by developing tools that allow artists and musicians to create dynamic NFTs. We believe the future of NFTs involves utility, composability, and programmability, and that any creator should be able to tap into this whether they know how to code or not.

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to help develop the look of our user-facing products; this includes two primary areas: our website and our creator portal. Our website serves as a marketplace to showcase and sell the art and music minted on Async. The creator portal, on the other hand, is for our artists and musicians. It’s the playground in which they can upload and create their programmable NFTs. This tool, in particular, presents a lot of unique design challenges since there are no other products like it.

As a UI/UX designer, you’ll join the creative team developing these tools. Because the design team is still relatively lean, you may have the opportunity to build a team as we scale. 

Responsibilities ·        High-level UX planning, wireframing, strategy ·        Presenting and proposing designs to the creative team ·        Design execution, designing in Figma, organizing handoff of files to the dev team ·        Revamping both our website and our creator portal ·        Maintaining brand consistency and design library

Here are a few traits we’re looking for in this role. Does this describe you? ·        3+ years of UI/UX experience ·        The ability to think abstractly around the user experience for something brand new to most users ·        The drive to simplify complex interactions into something anyone can understand ·        Passionate about the details and polish of a product ·        Deep understanding of Figma and wireframing techniques ·        Knows the latest design trends and can bring expertise and suggestions to the table ·        Loves the challenge of starting from the ground up and paving the way by figuring things out as you go ·        Bonus if you’re passionate about the blockchain/NFT space and have experience using Ethereum
