Bumble Inc is looking for a creative and inspiring Head of Crypto. Our mission is to create a world in which all relationships are healthy and equitable, and fundamentally, we help foster communities in which you can build connections, for love, for friendship, and for business.

We believe that crypto technologies are revolutionizing the way we think about communities and relationships, and that they can be a key catalyst in creating empowering and equitable connections. In this role, you will help us imagine, develop, launch, and land new experiences to further our mission powered by Web3 and Crypto technologies.

This role will be based in the US, UK, or Spain.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lay the foundation to support and inform Bumble’s crypto strategy, with a particular focus on next generation community and creator economies.
• Advise Bumble leadership on key technology and product roadmap considerations, and evangelize and educate the broader Bumble team on the ins and outs of crypto and Web 3 technologies.
• Build and execute against short and long term product roadmaps, ensuring Bumble builds a robust foundation for the future while delivering meaningful impact to our users as quickly as possible.
• Assemble, motivate, and lead a team to bring leading edge, mission oriented experiences to life.

EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 15 years experience with cryptocurrencies… just kidding, Satoshi… really we’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, creative, and passionate about crypto, NFTs, and the future of communities. Bonus points if you have experience developing in the blockchain space. 
• A strong technical background is required. The ideal person will have over 10 years of experience designing and engineering large scale systems, and a keen understanding of the challenges and rewards of mobile app development. 
• Demonstrated track record of working cross functionally to earn trust from colleagues across all functions and at all levels. Be able to lead and motivate a diverse team of engineers, marketers, data scientists to deliver compelling solutions. 
• Have a track record of directing technical investment in new products, allowing them to grow from fledgling efforts into thriving businesses. 
• Experience “landing” real products - i.e., building products that are launched, used, and loved by millions of people.
