What you’ll do:

  • Provide best-in-class end user support in the office or remotely
  • Manage SaaS services, endpoints and more
  • Improve Cake’s technology stack by understanding wider business needs and collaborating to define and deliver solutions.
  • Assist with MDM Enrollment and managing of accounts
  • Take ownership for inventory management of all of our equipment, including our global and remote colleagues
  • Assume the role of administrator for software accounts like g suite, etc
  • IT Asset and Inventory Management
  • Deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain our IT systems and hardware
  • Run server administration tasks
  • Be involved with Policy making
  • Manage onboarding and off-boarding workflows
  • Maintain and enhance technology standards, knowledge, processes, procedures, and documentation

What you’ll need:

  • At least 3 Years of relevant experience as a L1/L2 End-user Support, Service Desk/Helpdesk or similar IT Support Role
  • Relevant experience on device provisioning especially on Mac and Windows
  • Knowledge of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, SMTP, SPF DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH and IPSEC
  • Experience with using Jumpcloud and OpenVPN for at least a year, in a similar position
  • Experience implementing and managing SaaS Services such as Slack, Google Workspace, AWS or equivalent experience in other SaaS services
  • Experience in using and troubleshooting cross-platform devices such as MacOS, Windows and Linux Environment
  • Experience managing MacOS at scale using MDM tools.
  • Experience managing identity with SAML/SSO, OAuth and Radius.
  • A collaborative and resourceful individual with excellent communication skills able to make radical decisions while being empathetic and respectful.
  • Experience working in a fast pace tech-driven startup is beneficial
  • Ability to take full ownership and work independently while collaborating with others in a fast-paced agile team.
  • Comfortable working in a globally decentralized company; we have teams spanning multiple time zones.
  • Scripting and Automation is a plus
