We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader for this newly created role reporting directly to the CEO. As a Finance Manager, you will be one of the first members of our finance and operations team and will work across all teams to lead mission-critical, cross-functional efforts, guide our strategic planning process and help drive the execution of strategic initiatives. You will build relationships with senior leaders in every area of the business in this highly visible and impactful role.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company-wide strategic planning process to align the key strategic initiatives and resource investments, and own and manage the underlying corporate model, systems, and processes
• Track and monitor the performance of the business and provide forecast and actionable insights to improve the business performance
• Drive financial strategy and analysis. Provide leadership and support on issues ranging from business challenges and opportunities to partnerships and BD initiatives
• Be a thought partner to key decision-makers and partner with executives across the company to help drive strategic initiatives and special projects
• Prepare analyses and materials to communicate business performance and trends to the executive team, board members, and investors
• Lead and participate as the key finance stakeholder in cross-functional teams
• Implement processes, frameworks, and systems that allow us to capture and utilize timely and accurate data across the business to make better decisions
• Partner with all members of the senior management team and other company leadership on assessing and analyzing critical business decisions
• Provide a strategic lens and thought leadership to growth opportunities and scale the business for sustainability
• Attract new talent to create a world-class finance team

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance/accounting/audit experience
• Experience with consumer-facing products, blockchain or cryptocurrency, startup experience is a plus.
• Able to move seamlessly from big picture thinking to operational tactics.
• Experience building and managing complex financial models and designing and executing complex data analyses to deliver insights on business performance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced to Professional level English
