Job Description

Role Mission

The primary function of the Manager, Brand and Culture Engagement will be to strategize and manage initiatives and activities related to culture engagement, both internally and externally. The Manager will support the Vice President, Brand and Culture Engagement in promoting, protecting, and advancing all aspects of Gucci’s company culture. This role will seek to identify and develop ways to drive employee engagement and amplify Gucci Equilibrium and Changemakers strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with Vice President to develop creative and innovative ways to fuel and empower communities and individuals that Gucci engages with through its outreach, programs, and initiatives;
  • Develop compelling and creative partnerships with key community organizations to create and operationalize impact plans that support and further expand Changemakers objectives;
  • Develop relationships with key NGOs and create creative plans on how to partner with them in alignment with Gucci’s Changemakers vision to further Corporate Social Responsibility;
  • Manage the overall strategy that integrates Gucci Changemakers for North America into broader 360 company programs and Brand and Culture engagement initiatives (Gucci Equilibrium, social media, live events, podcasts, blogs, etc.);
  • Supervise administration of Changemakers initiatives and strategies working in partnership with social impact agency;
  • Own all the internal and external communications and stakeholder management for Changemakers programs and all Brand and Culture engagement updates;
  • Manage Gucci Changemakers external event programming in coordination with Events and Communications team;
  • Partner with external stakeholders on Gucci Changemakers program design and execution;
  • Liaise with WW counterparts on Changemakers Volunteering and Equilibrium strategies;
  • Co-lead regional Changemaker Committee, driving implementation and local strategy around volunteering efforts around Gucci America;
  • Prepare presentations and strategy documents related to Changemakers initiatives in support of the Vice President’s vision;
  • Manage all platforms, budget, and decks for internal and external use;
  • Liaise with Human Resources on employee engagement and internal communications, closely partnering together on key reactive and proactive planning of Brand and Culture engagement priorities;
  • Work with cross functional teams to mobilize Gucci’s internal population around all engagement activities;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external/internal teams/stakeholders;
  • Maintain and oversee all department budgets and operating expenses, including Travel & Entertainment expenses;
  • Manage the donation process and compliance approval forms through Benevity platform.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • 4-6 years’ NGO/501c3 experience with a focus on employee engagement;
  • Proven track record of building Corporate Social Responsibility platforms and relationships outside of fashion, especially in the philanthropic space;
  • Must be a subject matter expert with a deep understanding and knowledge in the social impact and arts/culture space;
  • Must be in alignment with Gucci’s core values;
  • Proficiency and experience with nonprofit technology programs like Benevity, Acceptd, etc.;
  • Programming and event experience;
  • Experience with grant writing, finance reporting and contract management;
  • Ability to translate ideas into clear, compelling messaging;
  • Strong verbal communications skills; must be comfortable presenting to large groups on a regular basis;
  • Inherent team spirit to provide energy, drive, and enthusiasm;
  • Ability to forge meaningful relationships across multiple departments and functions;
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, which demands both quick thinking and strong attention to detail.
