YOUR ROLE

As a Web Developer & Graphic Designer you are responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving client-facing software. You have a passion for graphic design and production experience in print, digital, and branding, creativity as well as forward-thinking with a passion for growth and innovation.

This position will report directly to our Product Marketing Manager and will be remote and based out of our head office in Toronto, Ontario.

YOUR IMPACT

• Oversee and participate in design, architecture, documentation, development, debugging, and deployment efforts while addressing cross-browser and cross-platform concepts and concerns
• Understanding of UX, UI and visual design concepts (emphasis on digital design) to provide perspective on front end technologies and their overall impact on the creative process
• Collaborate on project estimates, define scope requirements, structure projects, develop coding standards, methodology and repeatable processes
• Iterate in an agile fashion creating hypotheses and testing them with incremental code shipments through continuous integration
• Participate in code reviews, attend regular team meetings, and apply software development best practices
• Deliver innovative, engaging prototypes using the latest in front-end technologies

THIS IS YOU

• 3-5 years experience in web technologies and frameworks (JavaScript, Typescript, React/Nextjs HTML5, and CSS3, SASS, CSS in JS, nodeJS, NPM, Yarn
• Knowledge of full Google and Adobe Suites i.e. google analytics, tag manager and other marketing integrations
• Knowledge of REST APIs and their integrations.
• Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, a commitment to quality and possesses a collaborative work ethic
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Strong attention to technical detail

THIS IS NICE

• Knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, XD) and or other design softwares (Figma).
• Basic understanding of UX, UI and SEO. Understanding principles of good UX and UI, and the design process.
• Working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA
