- Work with teams and to achieve product update milestones within the set time frames
- Evaluate scalability, security, performance, and gas optimization of the decentralized application
- Responsible for blockchain nodes development, security/audit, testing, deployments, releases, and upgrades
- Working with security team for audits of new development and changes
- Manage governance-related efforts including developments, governance app, and operations
- Work with the governance team to implement new proposals. Communicate with the community on related changes and rollout plans
- Making security a top priority and carefully analyzing code changes for potential vulnerabilities
- Work with existing teams to further optimise, and debug potential problems
- Work with smart-contract and blockchain node teams to co-ordinate releases and changes
- Work with researchers to find optimal solutions to challenging problems
Requirements
- Experience in managing a team of engineers for at least 2+ years.
- Must have experience in Geth (Go Ethereum) or equivalent blockchain nodes, p2p, and Golang
- Deep understanding of Blockchain, Solidity, Assembly, and the EVM
- Knowledge of Rust, Javascript, Typescript or Node.js is a plus
- Experience in managing remote teams
- Active member of the dev community will be a plus (e.g. experience contributing to EIPs)
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment
- Demonstrated contributions to open source code bases a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; working proficiency in English (written and spoken) to work with team
- Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
- Willingness to learn new languages, frameworks, and technologies
