About the Position As a Blockchain Engineer, you will help pioneer an unannounced project that aims to shake up the gaming creator patronage model. Your primary role is to lead development on the systems and features that power Metaview tokens - both fungible and non-fungible. Additionally, you will be a key advisor on our token strategy and product roadmap, working alongside leadership and advisors to launch products and iterate.

Responsibilities - Contribute to the development of Metaview's decentralized technologies including smart contracts, wallets, and web dApps - Wear multiple hats - we're always iterating and have projects related to blockchain tech, video engineering, and machine learning just to name a few - Act as a key stakeholder in product planning, roadmap review, and resource allocation

Requirements - 2+ years of software development experience with decentralized technologies - Strong proficiency with Rust, Solidity, or a similar smart contract language - Familiarity with our commonly used technology (Node + Postgres) - High degree of accountability and sense of ownership - Self-starter mentality - must be able to effectively work independently and autonomously

Bonus Points - Experience building on the Solana blockchain - Strong understanding of application and API security - Payment systems expertise

Compensation - Competitive with top Series A funded startups with existing product and traction.

Location - HQ in Los Angeles, CA with flexible partial week WFH policy - Remote OK with travel to HQ for team onsite visits.
