Multisig.ventures is a Web 3 investment firm globally focusing on Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and cross-chain infrastructure. The firm invests in both liquid and illiquid digital assets and backs exceptional teams at their earliest stage.
We are looking for a Principal to join the firm. This individual will work closely with the General Partner and the growing investment team on sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities in companies and protocols. Ability to work in a remote team environment
Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, structure, negotiate, and execute new investments in a strategic manner
- Create investment and impact theses, measure results, and drive learning
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with top VCs to syndicate deal sourcing
- Actively support portfolio companies, including board involvement where appropriate
- Produce content that communicates our investment thesis
Qualifications:
- Proven background as an industry strategist or venture capitalist with experience in blockchain technologies and a deep knowledge of DEFI
- Proven track record of sourcing, developing, negotiating and closing interesting investment opportunities
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing deals, closing term sheets, supporting projects and harvesting investments
- Strong analytical capability and a quantitative approach is appreciated
- Technical skills in software or finance are advantageous
- Should be a 'student of the game' of venture capital
- Strong financial analysis & modeling skills
- Strong network within DEFI and crypto
- High level of self-discipline and self-motivation, sense of responsibility, and good time management skills
