We are seeking an IT Support Engineer who is looking to move into a growing and dynamic global team. This position will involve collaboration with internal stakeholders, including our DevOps Engineering team. You will provide support across a variety of programs of work with a primary focus on delivering secure and high performance IT desktop infrastructure while using the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network & system administration (including security management, clusters, user account management, onboarding/off-boarding of company’s employees and contractors, backups, e-mail system and other DMZ’s services, including support for office systems and users)
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Roll-out of hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources
  • Planning, implementation, support and documentation of the network and computing infrastructure, creating user guides and documenting issues and resolutions
  • Management of small to medium-sized projects in accordance with agreed specifications regarding quality and schedule
  • Maintain high levels of IT system security and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Assistance with technology planning through ongoing research and continuous self-development regarding evolving tools and technologies
Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar roles, ideally in a fast-paced environment such as electronic trading
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows (and Office 365 apps) and MacOS desktop system administration
  • Experience with troubleshooting network and application issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Experience with hardware setups, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Experience with password manager solutions such as 1Password
  • Practical experience with IdP solutions such as Okta, Google SSO
  • Familiarity with MDM technologies such as JAMF
  • Knowledge of network protocols and VPN Technologies (IPSec, OpenVPN, etc.)
  • Knowledge and understanding of systems and network hardening, as well as security principles and secure authentication methods, such as 2FA and MFA
  • Experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Self-starter with fluent communication in written and spoken English
  • Based in London or Zug, with the ability to travel periodically between our offices
