About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Lead to own user growth end-to-end for Otto, a new neobank/fintech app built on Ethereum.

This role sits at the intersection of performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM, and product-led growth. You’ll be responsible for scaling acquisition while building the systems that drive activation, retention, and long-term value.

This is a high-ownership, highly autonomous role. You’ll be expected to identify opportunities independently, define strategy, and execute without detailed briefs. Success requires strong judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to balance hands-on execution with long-term growth architecture.

What you’ll do

Growth & Performance Marketing

  • Own and execute user acquisition across paid and organic channels (paid social, search, partnerships, referrals, incentives).
  • Manage and optimize budgets, CAC, and conversion funnels across the full lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to improve onboarding, activation flows, and conversion rates. 
  • Analyze performance using analytics tools (Amplitude, Google Analytics) and translate insights into clear, prioritized action.
Retention Strategy & Full-Funnel Growth

  • Define and lead Otto’s growth and retention strategy, connecting acquisition, activation, engagement, and loyalty into a cohesive customer journey.
  • Own core retention metrics - activation, churn, reactivation, LTV - and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Design and run integrated full-funnel campaigns that link upper-funnel awareness to mid-funnel conversion and long-term retention.
  • Lead retargeting and re-engagement programs that convert paid audiences into loyal, retained customers.
  • Establish shared KPIs across acquisition and lifecycle, tying brand and performance spend to downstream retention and LTV.
CRM & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Develop and own a CRM strategy across email, push, in-app, SMS, and emerging channels.
  • Build personalized, trigger-based lifecycle programs that drive engagement at scale.
  • Leverage customer data and segmentation to power automation, experimentation, and continuous optimization.
  • Build modular lifecycle systems that connect acquisition insights with activation and retention workflows.
Data, Insights & Growth Systems

  • Partner with Analytics and Data Science to define and operationalize customer health metrics.
  • Use behavioral data to inform cohort analysis, churn prediction, upsell opportunities, and LTV modeling.
  • Apply lifecycle insights to audience strategy, lookalike modeling, and paid media optimization.
  • Translate data into strategic recommendations that shape the entire growth engine, not just individual campaigns.

Marketing Leadership & Coordination

  • Own or coordinate cross-functional initiatives across product marketing, content, launches, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and external partners or agencies as needed.
  • Ensure consistent positioning, messaging, and creative across all growth channels.
  • Help build foundational marketing infrastructure (tooling, dashboards, playbooks).
  • Manage community and audience responses on social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Manage marketing content for the website with contractors (blog, learning center)
What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in growth, performance, or digital marketing for consumer products.
  • Strong track record of driving measurable user growth end-to-end.
  • Deep analytical mindset - comfortable with funnels, cohorts, CAC/LTV, and experimentation.
  • Experience owning campaigns from idea → execution → analysis.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Interest in fintech, crypto, DeFi, or modern financial infrastructure.
  • Experience with incentive-based growth (referrals, rewards, credits).
  • Experience with SEO and AI SEO.
Nice to have

  • Experience with compliance, legal, or regulatory constraints in fintech marketing.
  • Experience launching products or features in new markets or geographies.
  • Close collaboration with product teams on onboarding, referral mechanics, incentives, or pricing experiments.
  • Experience scaling a consumer product from early traction to hundreds of thousands of users.
