Deal Analysis

• Proactively generate deal flow within the DeFi investment strategy, across both venture and liquid investments
• Conduct thorough analysis of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and market dynamics
• Create detailed investment memos and financial models for potential investments
• Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities in the DeFi space

Deal Sourcing

• Build and maintain relationships within the DeFi ecosystem
• Screen incoming investment opportunities
• Support deal flow management and pipeline tracking
• Attend relevant industry events and network with founders

Portfolio management

• Monitor portfolio company performance and token metrics
• Prepare regular portfolio updates and performance reports
• Support portfolio companies with strategic initiatives and research
• Track competitive landscape and market developments

Thought leadership

• Identify trends and segments to continuously perfect the investment strategy
• Write blog posts and knowledge nuggets (through medium and twitter)
• Represent the firm at industry events and conferences

Ideal candidate will have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with technical background (e.g., Computer science)
• 1-4 years of experience in VC investment, trading, or development in DeFi
• Previous experience at a crypto investment fund is highly preferred
• Proven track record of successful DeFi investments
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
• Data oriented and have proven ability to interpret and synthesize data, making recommendations to drive business decisions
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, market mechanics, and crypto markets
• Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently
