The Role
Swan Bitcoin is looking for a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join our accounting and finance team. We’re looking for a Bitcoiner with 2-7 years of experience as an Accountant or Auditor. Thisposition will be reportingto the Controller. Title/level based on experience.
Your responsibilities
Assisting in all basic accounting functions including:
- Fixed assets
- Revenue
- Accounts payable
- Expense reimbursements
- General ledger management
- Account reconciliations
- Monthly close
- Prepare key controls
- Work with external auditors on the quarterly and annual financial audits and SOX compliance testing
- Lead/participate in special projects as needed
- General company administration duties
Skills and experience that will help you succeed
- Familiar with working in accounting systems (NetSuite, Ramp, Google Sheets / Docs, online banking, Excel etc.)
- Loves debits and credits
- Organizational skills and incredible attention to detail
- Works well independently
- Takes ownership of responsibilities
- Flexible with working hours
- Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus
