About the Role

You’ll be at the ground floor of scaling Tensor for the next 1 million traders, helping us design incentives, track malicious activity and drive growth.

You will:

• Work with product and engineering on Tensor's incentive programs
• Analyze transaction data to look for anomalies and malicious behavior
• Help growth run data-driven experiments
• Optimize our apps for best consumer experience, such as building recommendation models

You are:

• Excited about web3/crypto/NFTs. We really cannot overstate this - you’ll be joining a team of web3 nerds
• A generalist with 3+ years of experience working on data analytics, data science and ML
• Deeply experienced with statistics and ML, and comfortable using the usual data science libraries
• Proficient in Python and ideally in Java/Scala

Bonus points for:

• Experience with data engineering - writing and/or interacting with data pipelines
• Experience having worked on consumer products that scaled to millions of users
• Experience with data storage technologies, knowing which to use when and why
• Good intuition on when to move fast/break things vs when to move carefully

Our stack is Rust (protocol) / TypeScript (back-end & front-end), React/NextJS, AWS, Kubernetes and a bunch of distributed data systems (Kafka, RDS/Postgres, ElasticSearch).

Location

We’re remote-first. The founders are in NYC/Toronto, and you’re welcome to join us there, but you don’t have to.
