Job Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Innovation: Lead the development and execution of the company's product strategy aligned with business goals and market opportunities. Drive innovation in product development, ensuring alignment with customer needs, technological advancements, and competitive trends. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and creativity within the product development teams.
- Technology Leadership: Champion best practices in software development and engineering processes across a broad product portfolio and geographically distributed teams. Oversee the technology roadmap and architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency of the company's products, and the systems and processes used to create them. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that enhance product offerings and operational capabilities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product management, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives. Drive cross-functional coordination to deliver integrated solutions that meet customer expectations and drive revenue growth. Act as a bridge between technical teams and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Execution and Delivery: Ensure timely and quality delivery of product releases and updates, balancing speed with reliability and scalability. Implement agile methodologies and project management frameworks to optimize product development processes. Monitor key performance metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of product initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Customer Focus: Advocate for the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring products address user needs and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Establish mechanisms for gathering customer feedback and insights to inform product roadmap decisions. Drive initiatives to enhance product usability, satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Team Leadership and Development: Build and mentor high-performing teams of product managers, engineers, and technical specialists. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the product and technology organization. Develop talent pipelines and succession plans to support long-term growth and leadership continuity.
- Strategic Planning and Communication: Contribute to strategic planning processes, providing insights and recommendations on product and technology investments, partnerships, and market opportunities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the executive team, board of directors, investors, and external partners, to articulate technology and product strategies, milestones, and performance metrics.
Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills

They will strike a balance between data-driven insights and strategic judgment to guide sound decision-making across the organization. Additionally, they will possess a proven track record in attracting, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams, serving as a cultural ambassador with a strong leadership presence and a collaborative approach.
The CTPO will collaborate closely with senior leaders within the organization to foster a culture of trust, innovation, and personal impact. They will play a pivotal role in galvanizing the team towards achieving collective goals and building an inclusive environment that embraces diversity of thought and fosters continuous innovation.
Ideal Experience:
- Product and Technology Leadership: 15+ years of progressive experience in product management, technology leadership, or related roles within high-growth companies. Experience as a Senior Software Engineering leader, Chief Software Architect, Chief Product Officer, Chief Technology Officer, or equivalent is preferred.
- Industry Expertise: Proven success in driving growth and innovation within the technology sector, particularly in enterprise software. Experience in cybersecurity is advantageous.
- Global Leadership: Experience leading multiple product groups and technology teams across global markets, with a strong understanding and experience of managing globally dispersed teams and organizations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, including board members, investors, external partners, and peers throughout the business, effectively communicating strategic vision and performance metrics.
- Education and Credentials: Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related fields. Advanced degrees such as MBA or technical certifications are desirable.
Level of Authority
The "C-Level" refers to the highest executive positions within our organization, typically reporting directly to the CEO (Chief Executive Officer). These positions are crucial for setting the organization's overall direction, strategy, and culture.
