Web3 Events Coordinator

DESCRIPTION: The Events Coordinator is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the Special Projects Lead, the Events Coordinator plays the important role of working with the Special Projects Lead in organizing and implementing new and exciting company events.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job provides a supportive role to the Special Projects Lead by initiating contact with tradeshow organizers and potential vendors and helping with the planning and execution of all events.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provide administrative support to Special Projects Lead
• Participate in Trade Show & Conference logistics/Off-site logistics planning
• Management of Tradeshow & Special Events calendar in coordination with the marketing team
• Participate in Client & Special Events logistics/Off-site logistics planning
• Research on new relevant conferences and tradeshows.
• Research new software and tools as required for the business
• Other duties as assigned by the executive staff

Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar support role; industry-agnostic
• A highly organized individual with excellent project management, communications, and organizational skills
• An entrepreneurial leadership >
• Attention to detail and a level of curiosity is important for this position.
• A solutions-focused, positive can-do attitude
• Ability to travel is a must
• Team player, willing to pitch in wherever needed
• Ability to respond to changing situations and priorities with a high sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
• Familiar with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
