Web3 Events Specialist

BitTorrent is looking for an Events Specialist passionate about the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry to join our growing and dynamic Marketing Team. This role will involve a combination of strategic alignment and creative implementation in collaboration with your manager, external partners, and business development. The ideal applicant will be an excellent communicator self-motivated and will have strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of current marketing techniques and public relations strategies.

You will:

• Collaborate with the marketing team on developing event campaigns, coordinate event staff, and volunteers, and maintain registration, invitations, and confirmations
• Report on post-event data, survey recaps, and tracking for ROI analysis
• Organize all types of events: Large and small. Physical and virtual across the globe
• Research the external events on the US market to understand what are the best events in the industry to determine which ones do we need to attend.
• Track budgets and negotiate contracts
• Research, order, and track event collateral and custom swag
• Take care of the project management of the event. Involving relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Assist with community partnerships research
• Research event venues and vendors around the world based on need
• Provide on-site day of event coordination support

• You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You take initiative and are fully accountable for your work
• You are comfortable with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a rapidly evolving business landscape
• 2+ years of relevant combined experience in marketing, customer success, or events
• Interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency space is a plus
