Internship - Cherry Crypto Investment team

Cherry Crypto is a first-check fund dedicated to investing in and supporting entrepreneurs from the beginnings of their journey in web3. Cherry Crypto has been amongst the earliest investors in some of the ecosystem’s most important projects including Lido, Blackpool, Morpho and CoW Protocol. We are a small, close-knit team that has been building and investing in the space over the past 5 years.

We are currently looking for an investment team intern that will work with the Cherry Crypto team across all functions in the investment process and support portfolio work.

Tasks

• Find the best web3 project and companies at the earliest stages
• Autonomously support and conduct investment due diligence by analysing data, leading market research, conducting diligence calls, and drafting investment memos
• Form views on where the space is heading next through deep research
• Help with portfolio support

Requirements

• You have a strong interest in web3 and ideally you've contributed to the space (technical or non-technical work)
• Willingness and ability to learn at a fast pace
• Hustle mentality
• Analytical both in quantitative work and qualitative reasoning
• Clear Communicator
• Can form opinions with imperfect data
• Entrepreneurial mindset

Extra points:

• You live and breathe web3, we don’t care where you have studied, it’s not important! This is an open invitation to bring on your weird, your nerdy, we want opinionated persons in this space.
• Knowledge /familiarity within the French web3 ecosystem is a big plus but not essential.

Role can be based remotely (you will need to work EU hours) or if you prefer office based you can join us from London or Berlin.
