Web3 Investment Banking Associate

About You

The Investment Banking Associate is responsible for advising clients and assisting the team with raising funds in the private and public capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other financial advisory transactions in coordination with the broader Galaxy Digital platform. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic financial advisor and assist with raising capital for clients across the digital assets, cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystems.

On a given day at Galaxy, you will:

• Assist in the execution of Galaxy Digital Investment Banking business activities and contribute to building the investment banking franchise
• Support the Investment Banking team with new business generation and full lifecycle transaction execution (from pitching through closing)
• Leverage past investment banking or related experience to enhance M&A execution and capital raising capabilities
• Identify new cross-divisional business opportunities for the firm and conduct broad industry research to identify new business opportunities
• Manage, mentor, and train analysts by providing detailed guidance and feedback and managing information flow as appropriate associated with live deals and new client generation

You’ve worked hard for:

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other closely related studies; Master's degree in Business Administration
• Experience in evaluating corporate transactions and structures, creating and presenting financial analyses, and assisting with new and existing client relationship development
• Strong interest in digital assets, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology (any professional experience is a plus)
• Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with teams and track business development (collect research, analyze industry trends, etc.)
• Series 79 and 63 licenses
