The IT Manager of North America will work collaboratively with other regional IT teams and provide direction for all North American-based IT operations and support. They will serve not only as a leader, but as a point of escalation and will contribute their strong technology background to complex problems and initiatives. System Administration and future planning are all part of this role as we grow as a global company.

The position is based in the US, follows hybrid work model with excellent flexible working practices. Applicants must hold a US Citizenship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travel Requirements: Occasional between Keyfactor offices
    • Potential international travel to EMEA-based offices (Sweden, Germany, Spain)
  • This role requires in-depth knowledge of both macro-level IT management and strategic planning, while being able to operate on a micro-level with individual technologies and processes
  • Manage and direct IT operations and teams for the global Keyfactor IT group while bringing a wide technical expertise to make design and implementation decisions quickly and efficiently
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day IT operations and act as final point of escalation for internal technical issues
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly look-ahead planning as it relates to Keyfactor infrastructure
  • Prepare progress reports and project plans to present to executive leadership
  • Operate as a SME and generalist across the global technology stack
  • Work together with Compliance and InfoSec to provide detailed information for required certification
  • Develop a comprehensive picture of Keyfactor's current infrastructure and provide recommendations for future improvements and enhancements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • The IT Manager, North America position must have 5+ years of previous experience working in a fast growing and global IT environment, as well as successfully making strategic decisions as it relates to future technology planning and direction
  • Experience operating in a high security environment and navigating compliance controls and how they relate to technology application
  • Comfort level performing cost/benefit analyses of vendor products and services
  • Deep understanding of the following areas:
    • Microsoft 365 suite of products including multi-Geo configurations
    • Microsoft Active Directory design, management, and maintenance
    • SSO and federation concepts
      • ADFS, KeyCloak, SAML, OAuth
    • Windows and Linux desktop and server operating systems
    • Security product deployment, management, and maintenance
      • including NGAV, SIEM, Threat Management, Vulnerability Scanners, Etc.
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • MDM experience on both Android and Linux (Intune knowledge a plus)
    • RMM knowledge
    • Firewall knowledge
    • Hardware supply chain and procurement process
    • Vendor management and contract management and renewal
  • Excellent internal customer facing presence
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective time management, project management and prioritization skills
  • Clear thinker, capable of making ambiguous ideas more concrete

COMPENSATION

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
