Web3 Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance and advice on tech-related financial regulation and crypto matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory and policy issues related to the crypto industry and blockchain technology
• Draft and review legal documents and agreements related to corporate, litigation, and regulatory matters, with a focus on tech-related matters
• Advise on compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to financial services and crypto, as well as blockchain technology and related areas such as smart contracts and decentralized applications
• Work with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business teams, to provide legal guidance and advice on a wide range of tech-related matters
• Represent the company in negotiations and interactions with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders on tech-related matters
• Stay up-to-date on legal and regulatory developments related to the crypto industry and blockchain technology, and provide insights and recommendations to the legal team and other stakeholders

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience as a lawyer with a focus on financial regulation or regulatory matters, with a strong understanding of blockchain technology and the crypto industry
• U.S. law license required
• Excellent drafting and communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex legal and technical concepts to non-legal stakeholders
• Familiarity with tech-related litigation and dispute resolution processes related to financial services and crypto matters a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal advice on tech-related matters
