The Logistics Specialist contributes to activities related to the supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order maximize process efficiency and productivity. This role will develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and employees. This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities

    • None

Duties & Responsibilities

    • Inventory experience, as related to goods receiving, cycle counts, and auditing for several locations.
    • Process documentation related to inventory receiving and shipping.
    • Facilitates logistics and supply chain for project implementations, as required and/or necessary.
    • Achieve day-to-day objectives consisting of tasks that are typically routine, with some deviation from standard practice or procedure.
    • Works through issues in a confident, positive way to build trust among the team, the company, and clients.
    • Any other responsibilities and/or duties that may be assigned, as deemed necessary by management.

Required Skills & Abilities

    • Proficient with company implemented/deployed technologies (e.g. Windows 10/11, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace)
    • Willingness to work all shifts: days/nights/weekends/holidays as needed and/or required

Education & Experience

    • At least two years related experience preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly
    • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
    • Ability to withstand prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and/or manual dexterity
    • Ability to work in extreme weather
    • Reliable transportation and valid driver license for commuting to assigned site and other locations, as required
    • Ability to report to work during assigned shifts and complete assigned jobs
    • Ability to follow route directions and communicate with manager
    • Team player and ability to approach issues in a mature manner, communicating directly with your direct manager
Compensation: $19.23/hour
