Your Role
We're searching for a meticulous and proactive Paralegal to join our team. As a Legal Compliance Specialist, you'll be instrumental in fortifying our legal framework and ensuring adherence to regulations within the ever-evolving tech landscape. As our first Paralegal, you'll be at the forefront of developing robust legal protocols, conducting assessments, and providing pivotal legal guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Framework Enhancement: Guide legal frameworks for various business units operating within regulated environments across multiple jurisdictions.
- Risk Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and recommend necessary actions to maintain legal compliance.
- Documentation: Draft, revise, and maintain legal documentation, contracts, directives, and terms under Swiss, European, and common law jurisdictions.
- Compliance Support: Assist in tax structuring, regulatory compliance, and related legal matters.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of commercial contracts, ensuring accurate preparation, verification, and maintenance of an organized e-filing system.
- Liaison and Coordination: Act as a bridge between external Legal Counsels, internal teams, and departments, facilitating document processing and addressing contract management queries.
- Administrative Excellence: Efficiently manage various administrative duties, including handling labour law issues, scheduling key meetings, and maintaining meticulous electronic systems for precise legal documentation.
Experience and Skills:
- Fluent in both English and German.
- Self-reliant work >
- Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with diverse stakeholders.
- Efficient, meticulous, and skilled in managing numerical data.
- Ability to thrive in both team and independent work environments.
- Enthusiasm for operating in a fast-paced, international, and vibrant startup culture.
- Background in legal education, preferably with knowledge or experience in employment and labour law.
- Experience in contract management.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
