ZORA is hiring a
Web3 People Ops Partner

Compensation: $45k - $75k estimated

Location: Remote

ZORA is a group of individuals working towards a new paradigm for creators by enabling the creation, curation, and collection of NFTs. We believe that by enabling a more equitable system for creators and communities, we will fundamentally rediscover the power of the internet.

We’re working tirelessly to make ZORA available to as many creators as possible. Our mission is to build a new creator and community-owned economy.

Who we're looking for

ZORA is looking for employee-first, thoughtful organization builder to help make Zora into the welcome home for employees. We're building a permissionless and open future for creators & communities of all kinds to find new ways to interact, and working to create a strong culture internally as a foundation to the work we do.

This person will report into the Head of Operations and work together to build out people processes, organizational structure, and implement best practices of full-cycle employee experience.

What you'll do

  • Streamline our onboarding process for new hires and contractors while maintaining an open line of communication with hiring managers and candidates, and assist with visa requests with our external counsel.
  • Build out and manage our HR operations, such as updating employee records, processing employee information changes, payroll, and benefits.
  • Advise on compensation structures, employee growth frameworks, and work with managers to support the growth of their teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to create an Employee Handbook, expand and advise on company policies, and document these in an easily digestible way for employees on Notion.
  • Help plan company offsites or other team-building events, both virtual and live.

Skills and experience we're looking for

  • 4+ years supporting employees in HR/People Ops/Employee Experience functions, preferably at a high-growth tech company or startup
  • Familiarity with HR policies and best practices, and communicating those across the org through documentation and messages
  • Experience partnering with and supporting managers with team and employee issues (leave, retention, morale, growth and development, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, creating and maintaining trackers and sharing updates on various projects and able to create a solid point of reference for others
  • Comfortable working with incomplete information and ambiguity, and have the execution skills to get the job over the finish line.
  • Excellent with async communications at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically. Our Ops org is quite small, so we need someone is able to strategize (and iterate on) People Ops processes and structures while also being able to execute on them.

We'd love it if you had

  • Crypto experience — particularly building web3 experiences for employees in a mostly remote environment
  • Global HR experience (international onboarding, hiring benefits, etc.)
  • Full employee cycle experience, from onboarding to offboarding
