About The Role
We are looking for a People Ops Specialist on our team to help us create a world-class onboarding and employee experience. With a hunger for systemic process improvement, this role will be responsible for establishing proactive business processes. As a People Ops Specialist, you will take leads from the Talent team on offer sign-off and manage the entire employee life cycle.
You Will
- Onboard new employees by completing I9 Verification and orienting them to our payroll/benefits and org-wide tools
- Own administration of company-wide HRIS practices in accordance with company goals and federal/state legal requirements
- Manage end-to-end activities related to payroll and benefits
- Coordinate with our external immigration partners for H1b, PERM, TN1, and other immigration-related matters
- Assist with maintaining HR-related materials. Ensuring that documentation, policies & handbooks are kept consistently up to date with company processes & mandatory state policies
- Plan and manage offsite, team meetings, and engagement activities
- You have 5+ years of generalist experience in an HR / People & Culture role, preferably within early-stage companies
- Have experience working with an HRIS and Payroll software
- Extensive experience with employee onboarding
- You can easily prioritize competing priorities; you are energized by constantly switching between administrative, people-oriented, and creative tasks
- You are a clear and effective communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills
- You enjoy working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- You have strong organizational skills
- You are excited by the idea of being a champion of our culture
- You have prior experience with tools like Rippling, Deel, Checkr
- You have worked with high-growth companies
- You are familiar with FinTech, Crypto, or Payments domain
