Chainalysis is hiring a Web3 Policy Law Clerk, Summer 2022 Internship

The Policy Team at Chainalysis advises both internal and external stakeholders on the forefront of cryptocurrency and its constantly evolving landscape. Our job is to ensure the company continues its rapid growth by employing sound and efficient legislative and regulatory analysis to support operations at the company, influencing government agencies and lawmakers, and shaping a groundbreaking industry as it matures and becomes more widely adopted.
As a law clerk for the North America Policy Team, you will conduct research into policy and regulations related to the cryptocurrency industry; draft comments, talking points, and blogs; create presentations; attend trade association meetings; track legislation and hearings; and attend meetings with policy staff and internal and external stakeholders.
A background like this helps:
- You will have completed at least one year of law school.
- You have excellent writing and communication skills. Law journal experience a big plus.
- You’re a self-starter comfortable conducting research and synthesizing complicated information.
- The tech startup landscape interests you as a career path and you enjoy fast-paced environments developing creative solutions.
- Experience working in policy, politics, or government a plus.
- A passion for cryptocurrency and/or blockchain technology helps, but isn't required!
This is a paid internship for Summer 2022, which can be either remote or in Washington, DC. We are accepting applications and extending offers on a rolling basis.
