About the Team and Role

We are seeking a highly motivated team player to join BlockFi's Risk team as a [ Portfolio Financial Risk Analysis Manager]. In this role, you will report directly to [Director of Enterprise Credit Risk] and be accountable for supporting the risk monitoring and management of the loan portfolio. You will be expected to quickly gain an understanding of the firm's products, policies, vendors, and business lines.

Your Mission:

• Support risk team in the collection, organization, and archiving of data, materials and other information used in the risk analysis and due diligence process.
• Support risk team in analyzing and monitoring the loan portfolio and other activities of the firm.
• Support reporting activities for the risk team and engage tactically with team members in specific areas to resolve day-to-day issues and challenges.
• Regularly engage with stakeholders to report on progress and identify obstacles, bottlenecks and critical dependencies. Demonstrate judgment in escalating issues to management as appropriate.
• Build strong, effective, and collaborative partnerships across multiple cross-functional teams. Influence without direct authority to achieve mutual goals.

Your Expertise:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Finance, Accounting or a quantitative field preferred).
• [2]+ years of experience in business, finance or other relevant fields.
• Strong understanding of financial products (e.g., loans, options).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a naturally collaborative working >
• Passion for problem-solving and willingness to take on complex problems.
• Solid attention to detail and ability to manage through ambiguity and evolving requirements.
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and/or Google Suite (especially Google Sheets).
• Credit and underwriting experience is a plus.
• Experience and/or interest in cryptocurrency is a plus.
• Experience or familiarity programming with Python and/or SQL is a plus.
