Principal Software Engineer - Backend
Polysign is searching for Senior developers to build secure, reliable microservices in AWS, supporting our digital asset custody solution and new initiatives aimed at driving the increased digitization of assets.
Our mission is to drive global use of digital assets by building best-in-class infrastructure that enables institutions to secure and transact in digital assets across the capital markets and payments sectors. To meet this mission, we are building products aimed at solving the current barriers preventing financial institutions from operating in the crypto market starting with the world's most secure crypto custody application. We are delivering this unmatched security via a novel combination of secure compute environments and our proprietary blockchain.
What you'll do:
In this role, you will be a part of a team designing and implementing our core products.
- Work with blockchain technology to build high trust services
- Help establish technical roadmap and architecture
- Work cross team to drive architectural and technical quality within the company
- Work cross functionally to define and build out the product vision
- Own problems from idea through delivery to the customer
- Write and maintain high quality, tested code

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Professional experience leading projects and owning products or services
- Experience driving the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience influencing software engineers’ best practices within your team
- Experience building and running highly available cloud services
- Experience writing event driven or distributed systems
- Very clear written and verbal communication skills
- Self starter able to work independently with minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications
- Worked in a zero ops model engineering team
- Strong passion for developing products that deliver a great customer experience
- Have implemented product features running in Kubernetes
- Passionate about blockchain technology
