Web3 Program Manager

The Growth team at DFINITY is on a mission to build the Internet Computer ecosystem by partnering with high impact entrepreneurs and developers, and enabling them to build products that serve billions of people.

As a Program Manager in the growth team you will be responsible for helping manage various initiatives such as hackathons, educational bootcamps, ecosystem marketing and PR support, developer grants, etc. Working cross-functionally across Growth, Product, Legal, Finance, Comms & Marketing, and Engineering, you will help coordinate teams internally to ensure our builders have a best-in-class experience. You will formulate new processes and help in direct execution of various programs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define, measure, and track success of various programs from the growth team. Provide regular reports to leadership on the impact of various programs
• Plan hackathons and educational bootcamps with high quality partners to engage developers from concept to execution, including planning and logistics, partner selection, coordination and post-event analysis.
• Work closely with product, marketing and design teams to align growth initiatives are executed in alignment with the various stakeholders.
• Work with the comms and PR teams to get marketing exposure for ecosystem teams.
• Help manage the ecosystem and developer grant pages on the website and social channels
• Work collaboratively with Legal and Finance to ensure streamlined payments to respective external partners

Requirements:

• Self starter with 5+ years of work experience in program or project management, business development or consulting
• Understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchains and other Web 3.0 technologies (preferable, not required).
• Experience running hackathons and bootcamps
• Comfortable with project management tools such as Airtable
• Demonstrated ability to balance thinking strategically and creatively with process and metric-driven execution
• Great communication skills -- ability to influence at all levels of the organization and engage professionally with external parties
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
