Web3 Risk and Compliance Manager

Concept Art House is looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring Concept Art House (CAH) business operations and procedures comply with legal regulations and internal policies for our USA and China offices.

The Risk and Compliance Manager coordinates the creation, review, and implementation of policies and procedures established by CAH. The Risk and Compliance Manager applies and interprets audit and compliance requirements for various departments. The Risk and Compliance Manager will interact with external auditors on matters related to audits of the organization’s internal controls, assess potential fraud activity, plus develop fraud detection tools.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement company policies and regulations across the U.S., and China
  • Advise management on the implementation of compliance programs including token compliance and cryptocurrency compliance
  • Design and monitor control systems
  • Assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies
  • Insurance policy management
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to review all departmental compliance policies
  • Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes
  • Lead employee training sessions on compliance issues
  • Follow-up on compliance issues that require investigation
  • Report to management on compliance
  • Help to develop and review company policies
  • Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks

What skills you will need

  • 5+ years of experience as a compliance officer, compliance manager, or similar position
  • A Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, accounting, or relevant field
  • Strong problem solving and operational process skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to analyze risks in complex business processes, and recommend controls to mitigate those risks
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills with the ability to successfully work multiple issues at one time
  • Ability to operate with strong integrity with the ability to handle projects of a sensitive and confidential nature
  • Has successfully worked with and sold to C-Level executives, chief compliance officers, risk management officers, and corporate general counsels
  • Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to establish trust and credibility across the organization
  • High-level knowledge of legal requirements and procedures
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
