Web3 Risk Management Lead

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a passionate Risk Management and Operation Lead to build Kronos’ risk management and operations foundation, directly benefiting our investors and driving the business. As a lead, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive risk management and fund operation solutions to all teams across our business. You should have a demonstrable history of cross-region team leadership and value delivery.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

As the Risk Management Lead, you will:

• Lead the activities of risk management research, including developing new risk management approaches, analytical models and deep analyses
• Lead the calculation, analysis and reporting of net asset values/Profit & Loss for asset management funds and proprietary trading funds.
• Prepare the company for more regulated cryptocurrency environment with tougher rules
• Review and reconcile daily trade and cash ledgers.
• Actively manage the firm’s risk exposures through working closely with multiple trading teams internally and communicating closely with external exchanges/financial institutions

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

As the lead of the Risk and Operation function, you’ll be working closely with the Technology, Trading, Business Development and Financial Accounting team. This role reports directly to the co-founder/CEO of Kronos.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5 years+ of experience as a risk management or a portfolio management role
• Detailed understanding of equities risk management, portfolio construction and trading
• Expert knowledge of quantitative finance and statistical programming with a strong familiarity with SQL and Python
• Intellectual curiosity and depth of skills enabling him/her to perform ad-hoc tasks and special projects, strong problem solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to lead a team and work cooperatively with all levels of staff
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members and business stakeholders up, down and across the organization.
• Ability to generate creative ideas, solve problems, and take ideas all the way to commercial implementation
• A commitment to the highest ethical standards and to act with professionalism and integrity
